I’d like to take the oppurtunity to thank Brandan and all the members of Spartan Rescue for an amazing course delievered to some of the members of the Vaughan Fire and Rescue Service. The level of professionalism and care demonstrated by all the instructors made the course a major success. I definately enjoyed my time spent on the course and was able to take a wealth of knowledge and information away with me. Brandon has continued to be a great resource in helping us develop a training program for our department. I will definately be looking to take more courses in the future with Spartan, and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to take their specialized courses.

June of this year Spartan Rescue provided the Guelph Fire Department with a customized Rope Rescue Technician Level I and II training program. This intense 5 day course was customized to suit our departments needs and challenged our guys on multiple levels. Spartan provided us with pre course site inspections, course material and a group of instructors that were second to none in knowledge and experience. Spartan was able to include our Arizona Vortex Multi pod into the weeks training and train our guys on the many different ways to set it up as an artificial high directional anchor which was a part of our customized program. If your department is looking to start, improve or expand on your Technical Rescue Program then I would highly recommend Spartan Rescue. You will receive excellent training and ongoing consultation to help develop any special ops program for your department. This was GFD’s second course with Spartan as they delivered our Confined Space Level I and II in 2013 and each course they exceeded all our expectations.

Hi Brandan, and the Gang, just wanted to thank Spartan Rescue for an excellent 2 weeks Rope Rescue I and II programs. Toronto Fire and Canada Task Force 3(Toronto Heavy Search and Rescue)Rope instructors are grateful that you were able to customize a program for our specific needs and unique rescue challenges. The Tower crane program has been long overdue with the vertical growth in the city, the ever changing landscape of the Scarborough Bluffs from season to season, the 300+ foot rappels at venues like the Rogers Centre and CN tower ; are all better dealt with after our training with Spartan and will continue to grow into the future together. Our Rope program has been re-energized as well as our instructors.
On a personal note, I am a (28 years) Heavy Squad Captain (T.F.S.), a Rescue Squad Leader (CAN TF-3)and Technical Rescue Instructor with both. In these positions I have been availed opportunities to train across Canada and the U.S. and would highly recommend Spartan Rescue and their programs to other departments. Thanks again and continued success!
    Captain Chris Rowland
