Spartan Rescue Inc. brings part 2 of the popular machinery rescue course. This class is designed to put the tools and techniques in your hands so you can build upon the experience you have gained from your Machinery Rescue Technician Level I course for your next man-in-the-machine run. Many of the scenarios are based on actual incidents that our instructors were directly involved. Those scenarios will include (but are not limited to): Snow Blower Entrapment, Clean Out Entrapment, Carwash Entrapment and various other custom props designed by Spartan Rescue Inc. Students will also do advanced metal cutting including tensioned and hardened steal, students will also get to cut a wide variety of different materials in different scenarios that allow the students to learn by doing hands on work. Moving, lifting, and stabilizing heavy loads will also be covered. Machinery Rescue Technician Level II provides an intense, 2 day, 16 hour NFPA compliant experience that requires each participant successfully complete the Job Performance Requirements and General Requirements outlined in NFPA 1006 Chapter 19.2.

- NFPA 1006 Chapter 5 General Rescuer
- Must be a Firefighter, Police Officer, Military or Representative of another Professional Organization.
Skills Taught Include:
This course involves more complex scenarios allowing participants to combine the skills from Machinery Rescue Technician Level I to mitigate these challenging scenarios. Spartan Rescue Inc. will provide custom built props to challenge members to manage the “Man in the Machine” call and bring it to a successful conclusion from scene management to patient extrication. Be prepared for lots of information and an intense, hands-on class.

Limited to 24 members. We emphasize hands-on learning by talking to you and not at you and encouraging participation by everyone in the class. Successful completion of the course will be determined by candidates successfully completing the requisite skills outlined in NFPA 1006 Chapter 19.2.

- Cameras are encouraged on the training ground
- We will be outside most of the course so dress appropriately for the weather.
